Speaking Ill

I’m no expert but, I think it is okay to speak ill of the dead, especially when the dead person is someone who in life, put themselves out there as a public figure who claimed to know how people should live their lives. People that achieve power and celebrity, who broadcast their personal beliefs, in order to achieve more power and celebrity, deserve to be dissected. They should be subjected to an amount of scrutiny exponentially proportionate to each minute of local and national airtime they have sucked from the universe.

Having said that, Jerry Falwell was a total asshole. The world is better off without him. He was a racist, sexist, homophobic, fascist, opportunist evil dickhead. We didn’t cut Hitler any breaks when his brains finally hit the floor, and rightly so. Now Jerry Falwell is dead, we should have a parade. Hell has a new inmate.

I don’t know how the whole space and time continuum thing, or reincarnation works, but I like to imagine that in some kind of great, cosmic “Twilight Zone” episode Jerry Falwell will be reincarnated into the past (during Jerry Falwell’s reign of terror) as a poor, Black, Lesbian, and for one single flash between incarnations, feels the pain of his own impact. Karma prison.

Thanks, Luther Monday

Rather brutal, dude. I agree with a lot of it, although I'm pretty sure one lifetime is aka an "incarnation"; flowers are pretty, though.
